Tuesday marked our first month of marriage. Mr. Involved had an event that included dinner at Powerhouse. :)
We met at Powerhouse for some yummies at sat across the table from the speaker - Martin Luther King III! I am not kidding here. It was a great way to reflect on Monday's holiday.
At the event, B eloquently introduced III in front of the huge crowd. I was so proud of him. III spoke about several topics - but honestly the only thing I remember him taking about specifically was violence.
B and I have been so blessed to interact with such influential people in our world including III, Ehud Olmert, George H.W. Bush, Anderson Cooper, Malcolm Gladwell and Apolo Ohno. How many people in their 20s can say that?

Just so you know, hearing you talk about Powerhouse MADE us eat there the other night before the Benny's. Wish you guys could have made it!
