We have also been nominated for several Benny Awards. The Benny's are an annual party thrown by Dale and Mere for their wedding couples. Not only is it a party, though, it is also an awards show. The winners get real prizes - like a canvas or wedding album!
This portrait was taken outside of the Kappa Sigma (Fabulous Xi) house. Baxter and I have many great memories here and he was so surprised that my bridal portrait was taken at the beautiful house.

We took this week portrait in Benton by the Christian Care Clinic! It is very shabby chic and we just love it. Don't the red roses pop?
Jill, one of my longest and best friend, caught the bouquet when we were riding off in the carriage. No one really knew that I was going to toss it and it just landed right in Jill's arms. She was shocked to say the least. This picture captures her emotion perfectly.
And this was my reaction when we turned the carriage around and Jill was holding the bouquet. A classic moment that I will never, ever forget!
We are so pleased with our pictures from the wedding. We waited only ONE WEEK, yes, SEVEN DAYS - and they had all the wedding pictures ready for us to view. It was the best homecoming present!
